1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website and/or renting equipment from Detroit Trailer & Transport Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services Provided

We provide dump trailer rental services for residential and commercial use within Michigan.

Accepted materials include:

  • Household trash

  • Yard waste and tree debris

  • Construction and demolition debris (wood, drywall, siding, roofing)

We do not accept:

  • Hazardous materials

  • Chemicals, liquids, or paints

  • Concrete, cement, bricks (unless otherwise approved)

  • Asbestos or contaminated materials

If prohibited materials are placed in the trailer, the Customer assumes full responsibility for all resulting disposal costs, fines, environmental fees, damages, and legal liabilities. The Company reserves the right to refuse service or terminate the rental agreement immediately.

3. Rental Eligibility

To rent equipment:

  • You must be at least 18 years old

  • Provide accurate contact information

  • Provide valid identification

  • If towing, provide a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance

4. Payment Terms

  • Rental fees are due during booking unless otherwise agreed.

  • Additional charges may apply for:

    • Overweight loads

    • Extended rental periods

    • Prohibited materials

    • Damage to equipment

Failure to pay may result in collection efforts or legal action.

5. Equipment Use

Customers agree to:

  • Use the trailer only for lawful purposes

  • Not overload the trailer beyond posted weight limits

  • Not modify, damage, or misuse equipment

  • Secure loads properly if towing

  • Return equipment in the same condition received

The renter assumes responsibility for the equipment during the rental period.

6. Delivery & Pickup

Delivery windows are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances. The customer is responsible for ensuring clear and safe placement areas.

The Company is not responsible for minor surface damage (e.g., driveway marks) caused by normal placement.

7. Liability Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by Michigan law:

  • The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • The renter assumes all risk related to loading, use, and towing of equipment.

Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from claims resulting from misuse or prohibited materials.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made at least [24–48 hours] before scheduled delivery.

  • Late cancellations may incur a fee.

  • Refunds are issued at the Company’s discretion.

9. Website Use

All content on this website is the property of Detroit Trailer & Transport Inc.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without permission.

We are not responsible for temporary website interruptions or technical issues.

10. Privacy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not sell customer personal information.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
